Sergio Garcia identifies likely DP World Tour return date as LIV star eyes Ryder Cup spot

LIV Golf star Sergio Garcia will return to the DP World Tour this year.

Sergio Garcia has confirmed that he is eyeing up a place at the BMW International Open in July as he prepares to return to the DP World Tour. The 45-year-old is set to embark on his fourth season in LIV Golf before linking up with the DP World Tour later this year.
He has committed to featuring in all 14 LIV Golf events between February and August.

And the 2017 Masters champion will also be hoping to pick up enough points to clinch a place in Europe’s Ryder Cup squad, with the tournament scheduled for September.
Garcia terminated his DP World Tour membership in May 2023 after losing an appeal over the fines he was given for his decision to join LIV Golf the previous year.
